Weldco-Beales Manufacturing (www.weldco-beales.com) designs and manufactures specialized heavy equipment attachments for the construction, forestry, mining and resource industries throughout Canada, the USA and internationally. Weldco-Beales is currently recruiting an Account Manager to provide field support to the current and future customers presently serviced by the Barrie, Ontario manufacturing team.

This sales role will appeal to an individual with an outside sales background in heavy equipment combined with a mechanical and technical aptitude.

Responsibilities will include:

• Fostering long term customer relationships
• Sales forecasting, budgeting and account planning
• Account management including recurrent contact, presentations, internal and external meetings and annual strategies
• Exceeding internal and external customer requirements and expectations
• Demonstrating persistence, overcoming obstacles, and striving to achieve goals
• Continually addressing customer concerns, demonstrating empathy, and consistently moving the customer towards commitment
• Travel and trade show attendance

A winning attitude, superior communication and presentation skills in both French and English and successful relationship selling experience are key. An entrepreneurial business approach along with the ability to manage multiple high priority tasks will contribute to success. The candidate will be an assertive self-starter, focused on an aggressive plan that interacts daily with decision makers. A post-secondary degree combined with a minimum five-year heavy equipment related sales experience is preferred.
