TR Sanding Equipment

WBM Sander Boxes are built with 10 gauge Corten corrosion resistant steel, while the mainframe is built from 3/16″ corten steel. It is structurally designed to withstand the weight of a full box of material when dumping. When accompanied with the hoist cylinder (optional), material can be dumped out the rear of the box through the manually bolted rear tailgate. Also included are a manual crank discharge gate opener, 24″ discharge chute, rear pivot blocks, hopper lifting lugs and a 25:1 gearbox for the conveyor chain operation.

  • Has a spring trip moldboard of 3/16” steel
  • Replaceable cutting edges – high carbon steel standard, optional carbide edges available
  • Rubber deflector reduces snow backspray
  • A 12’ wide blade that angles up to 40° in either direction
  • HYDRAULIC/ELECTRICAL OPTIONS:
    From a completely automatic system to a manual operating system, WBM offers a variety of hydraulic/electrical arrangements. Some of the most automatic systems available will increase/decrease the discharge rate according to road speed, while other simpler systems require the operator to manually dial the discharge rate.
  • LIGHTING OPTIONS:
    Lighting options available on WBM Hopper Sanders include: Strobe Flashers, Light Bars, Clearance Lighting for front and back of the truck and Rotating Beacons. Whatever your lighting WBM can equip your sander to suit your needs.
  • SCREENS: Available with Hopper Sanders, screens are fixed or hinged in various sizes. Typical sizes are 5″ x 5″ x 1/2″ bar and 4″ x 4″ x 3/8″ bar.
  • TELESCOPIC HOIST: Two choices for the hydraulic telescope cylinder are available: the Standard Tandem Box Hoist (1 year warranty) and the Salt Spreader (2 year warranty). The rod of the Salt Spreader type is encased in oil when the hoist is down for durability against corrosion due to road salt. Both types include Nitrated Rods.
